May Book Review 2019: Into the Water

Reasons For Reading This Book I keep having bad luck with my library not having the books I want to read. So, what ends of happening is I go over to the library and read the cover description of books in the Pop Fiction section until I find something I like or until I give up and just pick something. That is how this book was picked. It was not recommended to me and I had never heard of it before checking it out. This month I decided to read Into the Water by Paula Hawkins because I knew of the author due to her widely famous book The Girl on the Train  only due to its being on the front cover and because in the moment at the library the description interested me and made me want to read it. I also find it necessary to mention that I did not read Girl on the Train, but have seen the movie. If you didn't already know I am attempting to watch all of Emily Blunts movies check this out . Content of the Book This book takes place in the small town of Beckford. This town h

Star Themed Weekly Bullet Journal Spread Ideas

This week on the blog I am sharing six weekly spread ideas that are inspired by stars and the night sky, hence the use of blue. Even though I am not much of a night person, I love learning about the science behind stars and of course looking up at them during summer nights. Continue reading to become inspired to create beautiful star themed spreads in your own bullet journal. I plan digitally, using an iPad and the application  GoodNotes  and  Bargain Depot Stylus 2 Pack  from Amazon. Currently I am still using GoodNotes 4. Weekly Spread #1 If you have been following my Instagram  since October, then this spread might look a little familiar. The daily date header is very similar to my Hamilton weekly spread. I just loved that spread so much and all the memories that it holds that I was inspired to replicate it for this spread. With that spread I add

Bee Themed Weekly Bullet Journal Planner Spreads

One of my favorite environmental topics to learn about is saving the bees. I am just fascinated by the hierarchy levels that the colony follow and truly everything and anything that bees do. On my walk to work I was listened to  Noah Wilson-Rich's TED Talk on "How you can help save the bees, one hive at a time". I have read many articles, watched many videos, and listed to many presentations on saving the bees, but for some reason this TED Talk Daily inspired me in a more creative and less educational way than past resources have done. I thought to myself, why not combine two of my favorite things, working to save the environment and bullet journaling and bring them together in a creative but educational way. SO what did I come up with, as you already know from the title, Bee Themed Weekly Bullet Journal Spreads. This bujo blog post is different from my others because I will also be including resources for how you can help save the bees and why you should do it. Kee

Bullet Journal To Do List Ideas

I mostly use my weekly bujo spreads to make to do lists, but when I have a lot that I want to get done I will dedicate a whole page to just a to do list. In this blog post I will be sharing so of my favorite to do lists that I have made. These spreads vary from simple black and white to detailed spread with drawings. As I have mentioned before on the blog I plan digitally, using an iPad and the application  GoodNotes  and  Bargain Depot Stylus 2 Pack  from Amazon. Currently I am still using GoodNotes 4. If you are curious to why I plan digitally you should check out my blog post  Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning . Spread Type #1 This first spread is the simplest of all the ones I will be showing. I made this specifically for a day last year when I wanted to get a lot done before going to college. As you will see most of list include boxes to then be crossed out when complete. I just really like using the feature in GoodNotes that makes the shapes perfect for y
