2022 Bullet Journal Set Up

I might be a little late to posting this, but work and the holidays were crazy so I am just now getting around to it. In this blog post I am sharing the 9 bullet journal spreads I set up for the 2022 year. Most of these spreads I have more in depth blog posts about, I will link them if so. For this year I went with a neutral color scheme for my main yearly spreads. In the past I have done black and white and ended up really liking the way the bullet journal looked in the end. I do plan to have colorful weekly spreads. I have ordered this blog post in the order these spreads are in my bullet journal. This is also the order in which I fill them out each day. I plan digitally, using an iPad and the application  GoodNotes  and  Adonit Dash 3 Stylus  from Amazon. These spreads were made on GoodNotes5, but are easily exported to be used on GoodNotes4. If you are curious to why I plan digitally check out my blog post  Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning . Yearly Mood Tracker The

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

Reasons for Reading This Book I read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig for two reasons. The first is that I am a member of  The ReadHeads  podcast book club and it was the book of the month for November 2021. The second reason is that in between reading books for the book club I am also working my way through my best friends book list. This book just happened to also be on her list. I have seen this title floating around on social media and was excited to read it and see if it lived up to the high ratings that it was given.  Content of the Book Beyond the edge of the universe is a library that contains books for each life that you could live. For every action or decision you make there is a different possible life that follows. We all wonder how our lives could be different, but what if we had the chance to step into those different lives. Nora Seed finds herself in her Midnight Library where is faced with the decision of choosing if one of her other lives is better than the one she i

Ground Turkey Dinners

A protein source that I think is underrated is ground turkey. I grew up eating ground beef and it never agreed with my stomach and I wasn't a fan of the strong flavor. I also did not like the texture of ground meat for a number of years and refused to eat it. Within the last 2-3 years I have started eating ground turkey because it has a milder taste than ground beef. Since doing so I have developed a number of different recipes that I make with ground turkey. This post includes a variety of different ground turkey dinners that are sure to impress. All the meals are simple to make and require minimal ingredients.  All meals are milk free, gluten free, and lower in carbs/starches.  Eggroll in a Bowl Eggroll in a bowl is the perfect dinner because it combines vegetables and protein into one easy dish. The three main ingredients for eggroll in a bowl are green cabbage, ground turkey, and zucchini. For the sauce and seasonings I use gluten free soy sauce or tamari, salt, black pepper, s

The Top 5 list has my Top 5 books of the year. The Memoirs list has the memoirs that I read this year and lastly the Overall list has the rest of the books that I read this year.  I should note that not all the books I read this year have a blog post review. For the one's that do I will link them or if the blog post is scheduled to be posted at a later date I will put that date and update it once it is published. I will also include the star rating that I gave the book in iBooks or on my own.
