When I Should Be Studying

Reasons For Reading This Book:  As an active Readheads member I read the chosen book each month. May 2022's choice was All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata . As this was a Snitch's choice I was excited to read it because I have a high track record of liking her choices. I always look forward to a good romance or love story. Content of the Book: Following her divorce from a country music star, Aurora De La Torre heads back to where she grew up in Colorado to find herself and reconnect with the live she lived there with her mother. Aurora might not be ready for love quite yet but that doesn't stop her from looking at her handsome landlord, Rhodes.  What I Liked About This Book:  The premise of the story was similar to a Nicholas Sparks book/movie. I am not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing. At times it was very predictable, which again is not a bad thing. Reasons For Reading This Book I keep having bad luck with my library not having the books I want to read. So, what ends of happening is I go over to the library and read the cover description of books in the Pop Fiction section until I find something I like or until I give up and just pick something. That is how this book was picked. It was not recommended to me and I had never heard of it before checking it out. This month I decided to read Into the Water by Paula Hawkins because I knew of the author due to her widely famous book The Girl on the Train  only due to its being on the front cover and because in the moment at the library the description interested me and made me want to read it. May Book Review: Wonder My Reasons For Reading This Book After reading Columbine last month, I was looking for a more lighthearted and fun read. I also wanted to read Wonder by R.J. Palacio before I watched the movie since the movie is based off of the book. I had seen the trailer for the movie and found the story to be very interesting and knew that the book had to one of the books I read this year. Wonder is a lot more lighthearted compared to the books I have been reading the past few months. I felt as though I chose to read this book at just the right time in my life. Content of the Book August Pullman is a extraordinary boy who was born with a facial difference. The books begins with him starting middle school at a private preparatory school after being homeschooled since kindergarten.
