Minimal Weekly Bullet Journal Spread Layouts

In this blog post I am sharing simple and minimal weekly spread layouts for a bullet journal. The purpose of sharing these layouts is to give you ideas on ways to organize your weekly spreads. I have been using these same layouts for years now and still manage to make them look different and unique from week to week. Like with all of my bullet journal posts these are meant as inspiration for how you can make your bullet journal both functional and creative.  I plan digitally, using an iPad and the application  GoodNotes   Adonit Dash 3 Stylus  from Amazon. These spreads were made on GoodNotes5, but are easily exported to be used on GoodNotes4. If you are curious to why I plan digitally check out my blog post  Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning . Vertical with Three Sections This first weekly layout is a vertical layout with three useful sections. The main section is a vertical box for each day of the week and then a combined box for Saturday and S...

4 Ingredient Vegetarian Dinners

As a busy college student one of the best things I can do to make sure that I am eating healthy while also staying under a budget is to make dinners that only require a few main ingredients. I have published a similar blog post, but that one included meat products while this one does not. Like I mention in all of my food blog posts, I am milk free, gluten free, garlic free, and I limit the types of starch that I have. All of these meals are vegetarian and all vegan except one. In this blog post I am sharing some of my favorite quick and easy 4 ingredient vegetarian dinners.  I would like to mention that all of these meals meal prep great except the pizza and the Banza pasta.   Pantry Stapes soy sauce/tamari/coconut aminos salt pepper oil (olive oil or avocado oil) BBQ Caulipower Chickpea Pizza Caulipower Pizza Crust Fody Original BBQ sauce Fody Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce 15 oz can of chickpeas Over the summer I had a BBQ chicken pizza and when I went vegetarian I wanted to find ...

Layla by Colleen Hoover Book Review

My Reasons For Reading This Book As I have mentioned in past book reviews, I follow  The Readheads Book Club . This is a podcast book club where a different book is chosen each month. At the time of writing this we are reading book 14 of the year. The chosen book was Layla by Colleen Hoover . Like most of the hosts of the book club I had not read any of Colleen Hoover's books. With this being the first time I am reading one of her books, I set no expectations and went into it with an open mind. Before I started reading the book I only knew the title and a brief description that was given in the podcast.  Content of the Book This book follows the intriguing story of Leeds and Layla's life after their meeting at her sister's wedding. Layla and Leeds' lives are forever changed after an unexpected attack. The attack leaves Layla with mental and emotions scarring, she is not the same woman Leeds fell in love with months before. In an effort to mend their relationship, Leeds ...

New Year Bullet Journal Set Up

As someone who is going on three years of bullet journaling, I think I have the hang of how I like to set up a new journal each year. Over the years I have learned how I like my journal to be organized, what I use and do not use, and how much I can handle tracking before it becomes too much. With the things that I have learned, I have come up with a set of spreads that I find to be necessary to add to a bullet journal from the beginning. I would like to start by saying that the joy and creativity of bullet journaling is that it is meant to fit your needs and wants so, what I share here is meant as inspiration and it not meant as a guide to what exactly you have to do in your bullet journal. The order in which I share each spread is the order in which they are organized within my bullet journal. I have them ordered this way because the spreads that I access everyday are at the front of the bullet journal, then the middle is weekly spreads, and at the end is the spreads that I only acces...

5 Layouts for a Bullet Journal Recipe Book

One of my goals for my winter break from school is to create a recipe book in GoodNotes. I am also helping my twin sister make her own recipe book. In this blog post I provide examples of recipe book layout for your bullet journal along with tips and suggestions on how to make the layouts fit your specific needs and wants. What is great about creating your own recipe book in your bullet journal is that you can tailor each recipe page to each specific recipe. Compa...

5 Fall Black and White Weekly Bullet Journal Spread Ideas

I have been in a funk lately with my inspiration for my weekly spreads. To try and get out of the funk I started watching some November and October bullet journal plan with me on YouTube. One that particularly inspired me was Kristin's November Plan Me . Her video gave me the inspiration for some the weekly spreads that I am going to share in this post.  I plan digitally, using an iPad and the application  GoodNotes  and  Adonit Dash 3 Stylus  from Amazon. Currently I am still using GoodNotes 4. If you are curious to why I plan digitally you should check out my blog post  Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning . Mickey Pumpkins For this spread there is a Mickey shaped pumpkin for each day of the week. There is also room to track your food for each day. I made this spread by tracing a coloring page picture of a Mickey pumpkin that I found online. If you do not track what you eat each day then you can use the open space for other weekly elements. I...
