The instructions that came in the kit and that were provided on the website were easy to follow. As someone who was concerned with how ThredUp would dispose of the clothes that they did not consider to be profitable, I was reassured that the items are passed onto third party sellers or their textile recycling partners. When then repurpose the items into new useful products. My only complaint when it comes to the selling of clothes is that I did not received as much of a store credit as I expected. For the overall concept of the company I will continue to be a costumer mainly for the fact that as an Environmental Studies student I am a supporter of their message of encouraging second-hand use.
Buying Clothes:
When it comes to the functionality of the app and website I find it to be very customizable to the type of products I am looking for. There are clear and accurate descriptions of the products: size, fabric type, color, condition, brand, etc. The quality of the pictures on the products are a great representation of the item. The fact that they photograph a majority of the items on a manikin is a feature that I find to be very useful. I have had a few busts when it comes to clothing items that I have purchased from ThredUp. This is not due to the fact that the item was not accurate to the provided description, it was because I am particular when it comes to the fit and texture of my clothes. An aspect of the ThredUp that could use improvement is an increase in products in the Juniors section. I know this will just take time in part because the website receives most of its products in the Women's section.
Overall:
Even with the few complaints that I have when it comes to ThredUp they are not enough to deter me from continuing to sell and purchase from them. I would encourage anyone to give the company a try whether that means selling clothes or buying clothes.

2022 Update: ThredUp published their 2021 Resale Report, I recommend giving it a read. It has lots of informative statistics and graphics about fashion and secondhand shopping.
