Summer Series by Jenny Han Book Review

Reasons For Reading This Series: Have you ever been in a reading phase where you just want to binge a series? Well if you have then you will know the feeling I got when I saw that Amazon Prime Video was releasing a series based on Jenny Han's Summer Book Series. I knew I wanted to watch the show, so prior to watching the show I read the series. I also wanted to see if the books and show lived up to what I was seeing people say about it on social media. The series includes the three books: The Summer I Turned Pretty , It's Not Summer Without You , and We'll Always Have Summer .  As I am reviewing all the books there are spoilers.  Content of the The Summer I Turned Pretty: Every summer Belly, her older brother, Steven, and her mom Laurel spend the whole summer in Cousins, a beach town, with her mom's best friend, Susannah, and her two sons Conrad and Jeremiah. This is a coming of age novel where Belly battles her feelings for the brothers. Conrad is the older more myste

Beach Read by Emily Henry Book Review

Reasons For Reading This Book As I have mentioned in some of my recent book reviews, I am working through my best friends book list. I first read   People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry . After loving that book, I thought why not read another one of Emily Henry's other books. This one was also on my best friends book list, she never finished it. I was also in the mood for a lighter easy romance book. As I am now on Book Instagram, I am always seeing this book and how much people love it so I thought why not read it. That is how I came to read Beach Read by Emily Henry .  I should also mention I read and reviewed this book in November/December of 2021. Content of the Book January Andrews is a romance writer who no longer believes in love and Augustus Everett is a literary writer with writers block. During the summer on the lake the two enter a challenge for both personal and professional reasons. Other than the fact that they are both writers, neighbors, broke, and experiencing

Simply Paperless Digital Fitness Planner

I am over the moon excited to announce that I have started an Etsy shop for digital bullet journal and planner products. My Etsy Shop is Simply Paperless . I have been working on this project for some time now and finally have my first listing ready to launch and for purchase.  The first planner bundle that I created is a fitness planner. This is the first bundle that I created because  Bullet Journal Fitness and Workout Spread Ideas   is my most viewed blog post. I not only wanted to update some of the spreads that I created for that initial blog post, but I also wanted to add more spreads. In this blog post I am sharing examples of how you can fill out the spreads once you purchase them from my Etsy shop: Simply Paperless .  The idea behind these spreads is that they are customizable to any planner style or planner theme because they are black and white. In the examples below I show how to incorporate different themes into the spreads.  The Fitness Planner Bundle includes that follow

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata Book Review

Reasons For Reading This Book:  As an active Readheads member I read the chosen book each month. May 2022's choice was All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata . As this was a Snitch's choice I was excited to read it because I have a high track record of liking her choices. I always look forward to a good romance or love story. Content of the Book: Following her divorce from a country music star, Aurora De La Torre heads back to where she grew up in Colorado to find herself and reconnect with the live she lived there with her mother. Aurora might not be ready for love quite yet but that doesn't stop her from looking at her handsome landlord, Rhodes.  What I Liked About This Book:  The premise of the story was similar to a Nicholas Sparks book/movie. I am not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing. At times it was very predictable, which again is not a bad thing. For some it can be comforting that they can predict the ending or parts of the book. In my experience I enjoye

Malibu Rising Taylor Jenkins Reid Book Review

Reason for reading this book My reason for reading this book is my best friend recommended it. She is the one who first introduced me to the author Taylor Jenkins Reid by loaning me her copy of  The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid . I then went on to read  Daisy Jones & the Six which is also by Taylor Jenkins Reid  and  Maybe In Another Life . My best friend said she loved Malibu Rising . We usually like similar books so I took her word for it and read this book. I read and reviewed this book last summer and am just now getting around to posting it. Content of the book Today is the day. Its August 1983 and its the day of Nina Riva's infamous annual end-of-the-summer party. Everyone wants to be invited to the party so they can get a look at Nina Riva the talented surfer and supermodel. Not only is she important, but so are her surfer champion brothers Jay and Hud and up-and-coming younger sister Kit. Why is this the party to be at? One because you can only g
