Bullet Journal List Spread Ideas

One of my favorite types of spreads to create in my digital bullet journal is list spreads. I find creating list spreads to be a creative way for me to compile my thoughts into so sort of order. Every list spread has a purpose, whether that be somewhere to make a to do list, packing list, or just a fun spread where I can be creative. In this blog post I will share some of my favorite list spreads that I have made in the hope of inspiring you for your bullet journal.
As I mentioned I plan digitally using an iPad and the application GoodNotes and Bargain Depot Stylus 2 Pack from Amazon. If you are curious to why I plan digitally you should check out my blog post Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning.

Packing Lists

The list spread that I make the most are packing lists. These packing lists range from weekends spent at home to week long beach vacations. The process of creating one of these spreads usually begins with me using the notes application on my phone to make a giant list and then I divide it into sections. Once I have an idea for how I am going to decorate or the layout for the bullet journal spread I then start creating. Sometimes the spread is more functional and less 'pretty', but in the end they all serve the same purpose of making sure I don't forget anything I need. One tip I have for packing lists that I usually don't include, but highly recommend is also having a small to do list section as well. Before leaving for a trip there are always a million and one things to do, so including a to do list in this spread is a way to make sure everything gets done before you leave.

Recipes To Try

When I get ideas in my head the best way for me to organize everything is to write it out. As of August I moved into my first apartment and started cooking for myself. Some of you can probably relate to getting excited about new things and baking and cooking became that for me. Pinterest was my weakness and I started finding all of these recipes that I wanted to try. So what better way to make sure you make them all then with a bullet journal list spread. I really like how this spread turned out because it reminds me of when I would see my grandmother making a list of recipes that her friends recommended. This is a super simple spread layout that can be used for any type of list. The links to some of these recipes are on my Pinterest @whenishouldbestudying

Favorites

As I mentioned this list layout is so versatile that you can use it for any type of list. I used the same basic idea to make a list of some of my current favorite things. Instead of using words and fonts like I did you could use doodles or little images. If I created this spread again I might also include more color or different shades of grey to make it a little bit more interesting.

Playlists

One of my favorite things to do is to turn on Spotify and just scroll through Pinterest or online shop; even though I never buy anything. Since what I am listening to is always changing this would be a fun spread for me to recreate every couple of months to see what I am currently loving listening to. Similar to the last list idea I used the same layout idea and just made slight changes.

What's In My School Backpack

After wanting to create this spread for so long, but not being able to decide exactly how I wanted it to look @bujoandcookies spread idea gave me the inspiration I needed to make this spread finally happen. I am really pleased with the end product of this spread. The idea of this spread could also translate into a packing list spread as well. Instead of each pocket in the backpack you could do what you are going to pack into each bag.

Workout Routine

The last list spread that I am going to share in this blog post is my workout routine list spread. I find the sections of this spread to be useful for dividing up the workout. I like that you can use the layout of this spread for the different types of workout that you do, leg day, arm day, back day and so on. If you are in need of workout or fitness related bullet journal spreads I have a whole blog post dedicated to that topic Bullet Journal Fitness and Workout Spread Ideas.

If you recreate any of these spreads, I would love to see them. Make sure to tag me on Instagram @whenishouldbestudying

Reasonable Dorm Room Cleaning Schedule

Reasonable Dorm Room Cleaning Schedule After my first semester of college I have developed a cleaning routine that I have been able to keep up with. You can read my previous blog post about What I Learned In My First Semester of College . Over the past few months I have experimented and I am confident in the routine that I have created.  Personalize When it comes to personalizing the schedule you could add or take out the different chores. For example I also wash my retainers weekly and monthly my roommate and I decorate the marker board on the outside of our door. We also only clean our mirrors when needed since we have found that they do not seem to become too dirty regularly. Something that I would make sure you sanitize every week would be the surfaces that you are constantly touching. That means light switches, door handles, and your desk. By doing this I managed to avoid getting sick when my roommate and other floor mates go sick. Another task that you could add ...

Bullet Journal Fitness and Workout Spread Ideas

If you want to purchase some of these spreads you can buy the digital bundle from my Etsy shop: Simply Paperless .  I had created six different bullet journal fitness and workout trackers/spreads. These spreads were made in my digital bullet journal using the GoodNotes App.   I highly recommend to use a stylus when using GoodNotes as a digital bullet journal. For this project I used the Adonit Dash 3 Stylus , which I highly recommend. I also recommend the Bargain Depot Stylus 2 Pack  from Amazon. Daily Workout Plan This first spread can be used to plan out what exercises you plan to workout each day of the week. I would recommend this spread for those who are just starting to workout. I did not created the workout that is used as the example for the content of this spread. The workout is from Pintrest Workout Plan .  Workout Tracker This next tracker is in the format of a monthly calendar. In order to track the different workouts...

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus Book Review

Reasons For Reading This Book: Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus was Jackie's choice for the month of October. Jackie is the host of The Readheads Podcast Book Club. This is a monthly podcast book club that I have been apart of since it was established in 2020. I love getting to hear the thoughts of the hosts each month.  Content of the Book: Elizabeth Zott is a chemist but is much more than meets the eye. She is not only beautiful but also extremely smart, confident, strong, and not afraid to beat to her own drum. Elizabeth is one of the only female chemists working at Hastings Research Institute. She is viewed as different by everyone there. It's there that she meet Nobel-Prize nominated chemist Calvin Evans. Calvin who falls in love with Elizabeth is described as a loner, grudge holder, and extremely brilliant. Fast forward a few years and Elizabeth is now a single-mother working as the host of the most watched cooking show, Supper at Six . With Elizabeth's ways of ...
