In this blog post I will share some of the social media and blog trackers that I have created for my bullet journal. As my blog traffic and social media traffic have grown over the months I have become more and more in seeing just how much it has grown from month to month. These trackers and spreads are perfect for anyone who is just starting out on social media or is new to blogging and is also great for those who are just need away to keep everything to do with their social media organized. I plan on an iPad using the application GoodNotes and Bargain Depot Stylus 2 Pack from Amazon. If you are curious to why I plan digitally you should check out my blog post Switching to a Digital Planner-Paperless Planning.
Social Media Follower Tracker
Whether you are new to social media or are an old pro, tracking the number of followers you have on each platform can be beneficial and rewarding at the same time. When I first created my blog Instagram @whenishouldbestudying I started to track the number of followers I had. I made a very simple spread and have found it to be functional, but there is one thing that I wish I would have added to it. When this spread is complete and I make a new one I plan on adding a place for the date on which I reached that certain number of followers. Doing this would help me to see how fast I am gaining followers and then using other spreads I will talk about in this post to see what posts helped me to reach that number of followers.
Pinterest Monthly Viewers Tracker
I recently made this spread and absolutely love how it turned out. The point of this spread is to track the number of monthly viewers you have on your Pinterest account. I broke it up into the rest of the months for 2018 and then the months for 2019. This spread was so simple to make and I am excited to use it as a tool to grow my Pinterest traffic. You could take the base of this spread and decorate and use any colors that you want. An example of how you could decorate this spread to match the type of social media account that you run or the niche of your blog.
Instagram Post Ideas and Schedule
This next spread is great for writing down your social media post ideas and then scheduling when your plan to post them. Another feature that you could add to the spread is having a column for when you have to post ready to post. Such as when you have the caption and picture ready.
Blog Hourly Time Tracker
When I started taking blogging seriously I started to track the amount of time I spent on writing posts and making graphics. I can then take is information and compare it to how well the posts did. It also gives me an idea of how much time I need on average for the various types of blog posts that I publish. For example I know if I am going to create bullet journal spread that is going to take me more time compared to if I am just writing a post. If you follow me on Instagram then you would know that I include this tracker in my monthly/daily trackers and that seems to work best for me. If you did not want to devote a whole spread to this you could always add a smaller tracker on your weekly spreads.
