Something I have opened up about a little bit on my blog is that I have a few disabilities. This is not something I openly talking about with people until I get close to them and feel that there will be no judgment or negative comments made in regard to them. Something that I do feel comfortable with is reading books about disabilities. I feel comfortable doing this because it is a way to find connections and relate to others (I don't have people in my life who I can do that with), but with reading I am able to learn about other disabilities and widen my understanding of disabilities.
